The new energy adviser for the Government has publicly raised the alarm that the UK could be facing blackouts as early as 2016 and the main problem is that green energy is not coming on stream fast enough according to reports.
For a country meant to be going forward I think this could be seen as quite a concern to all with electricity and gas supply seen as one of the most important things to people in the UK with it estimated that around 40 minutes a year will be lost in energy. I know this doesn’t seem like much but over the course of a year 40 minutes of energy is a major backward step and apparently as the years go on the time without electricity may expand.
I think it’s about time people sat up and realised this is only going to get worse over time if we don’t sit up and take notice with the effect were having on the planet. If a bit of recycling now and then would help then it’s only 5 minutes out of your day to stop this growing problem.
